The initial days in a dark room were incredible. I was 14 and far from a professional but it was love! When I returned to school after a summer of photography lessons, I gathered a bunch of interested friends and together we received permission to create a tiny photography club. We taught each other everything we learnt individually and we explored the roads of Pushkar together on trips that the school arranged. The school saw our excitement and gave us our very own dark room and an opportunity for our very own exhibition. There is a reason I loved Mayo College. Here are some of my very first pictures.
Its been a while since I wrote. But this was a year of wonder, and as it ends, I feel like I must pen every feeling down. There is a choice I have to make at this point. Do I migrate all of my old art and words here painstakingly from my old websites, or do I treat you as a new friend and tell you my story anew?
I think I'll do the latter. Partly because I'm too lazy to do the dreaded, monotonous copy-paste chore, and partly because this was a year of new friends, travel and heart-break and it'll be great to feel like I'm starting over.
